| ANSCHUTZ | NP-2020 PRE OWNED MARINE AUTOPILOT |
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The Anschütz NP2015 is a professional-grade adaptive heading control system that automatically adjusts to the vessel's load and the prevailing sea conditions. By utilizing advanced steering algorithms, the NP2015 minimizes unnecessary rudder movements, which reduces wear on the steering gear and lowers fuel costs.
This system is modular, consisting of a compact Operator Unit (Type 102-886) and a powerful Connection Unit (Type 102-885). It is fully approved for both standard commercial vessels and High-Speed Craft (HSC). Bridge officers favor the NP2015 for its intuitive "Push-to-Set" rotary knob and the clear graphical display that shows heading, set-course, and rudder demand at a glance.

KEY FEATURES & APPLICATIONS
-- Adaptive Steering: Features a "Quick Tune" function that automatically defines parameter sets to adapt to environmental changes, such as heavy swells or shallow water.
-- Economy & Precision Modes: Allows the operator to prioritize fuel savings (Economy) or strict course-keeping (Precision) depending on the mission and sea area.
-- Radius/Rate-of-Turn Control: Ensures smooth and predictable turns, reducing the risk of cargo shifting and increasing passenger comfort.
-- Course Control Mode: Automatically compensates for drift caused by wind and current, keeping the vessel exactly on its intended Course Over Ground (COG).
-- HSC Approved: Specifically certified for use on High-Speed Craft with rapid rudder response requirements up to 70 knots.
-- Modular Expansion: Supports the connection of additional remote control panels and tillers, allowing for full autopilot control from the bridge wings or secondary stations.
TYPICAL CONDITION (USED/REFURBISHED)
When sourcing NP2015 systems from ship-recycling yards, we conduct a specialized multi-point test. We verify the health of the CPU PCB (102-885.101) and the I/O PCB (102-880.200) inside the connection unit. Each system is tested for signal integrity on the Course Bus and calibrated against a gyro simulator to ensure zero-lag rudder response. The rotary knob and tactile keys on the operator unit are checked for mechanical precision and backlighting consistency.
