Service Support at Indian Ports & Anchorage
Nelcom Marines provides technical service and installation support only for vessels berthed at port or at anchorage within India. Services are not available at sea or outside India, subject to port access, equipment requirements, scope of work, vessel schedule, and technical personnel availability.

Services Offered
Service / Troubleshooting
For existing marine equipment problems or malfunctions.
Onboard Installation
Installation of marine equipment onboard the vessel.
Service & Reinstallation
Servicing, removal, and reinstallation of existing equipment.
Installation & Testing
Installation followed by functional testing where technically possible.
Equipment Replacement Support
Support related to replacement of existing marine equipment.
How It Works
Submit Requirement
Customer provides vessel, port, equipment and service details.
Technical Review
Nelcom reviews the requirement and vessel schedule.
Service Quotation
Nelcom provides the applicable service/installation quotation.
Attendance & Work
After confirmation and required customer arrangements, technical personnel attend the vessel.
Customer Responsibilities
For onboard service/installation, the customer is responsible for arranging:
- Port Entry Pass: All required port entry passes, security clearance, vessel access permissions, and agent coordination.
- Accommodation: Accommodation for attending personnel where required.
- Hospitality: Required hospitality/crew arrangements where applicable.
- Travel Tickets: Required travel tickets for attending personnel.
- Local Transportation: Required local transportation/access arrangements where applicable.
These arrangements are NOT included in Nelcom Marines' service/installation charges.
Our Quotation
Nelcom Marines will quote only the applicable:
- Service Charges: Charges for the required servicing work.
- Installation Charges: Charges for onboard installation.
- Service + Reinstallation Charges: Where the scope includes servicing and reinstallation.
GST Extra: Applicable GST will be charged extra as per prevailing Indian GST requirements.
Replacement Equipment / Spare Parts: If replacement equipment, product or spare part is required, it will be quoted separately where applicable. Freight/transport charges for replacement equipment or spare parts, where required, will be charged extra as applicable.

Please provide your vessel details and service requirements. We will review the technical requirement and vessel schedule to provide a quotation.
Commercial Notes
• Service/installation charges are quoted based on the information provided by the customer. Final scope and requirements may change after onboard inspection or technical assessment.
• Port entry, vessel access, accommodation, hospitality and travel arrangements for attending personnel are to be arranged by the customer.
• Applicable GST and freight/transport charges for replacement equipment or spare parts are extra.
