PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The ComNav Voyager X3 features a high-contrast 3.5-inch monochrome LCD and is fully compliant with IMO and IEC standards for Class A AIS. Unlike Class B units, the Voyager X3 transmits at higher power (12.5W) and uses SOTDMA technology to ensure its position is reported with priority, even in high-traffic shipping lanes. It is designed to enhance situational awareness by displaying the position, speed, heading, and cargo information of all AIS-equipped vessels within VHF range.

The system is highly integrated, containing the VHF transmitter, two TDMA receivers, a 70-channel DSC receiver, and a high-sensitivity GPS receiver within a single compact housing. It is engineered to feed real-time target data to the ship's Radar and ECDIS via NMEA 0183 or NMEA 2000. Its intuitive interface and dedicated "target" list allow the officer of the watch to quickly identify potential collision risks and communicate directly with other vessels via VHF.

Our refurbished ComNav Voyager X3 units from the Alang yards go through a comprehensive "RF Stress Test." We focus on the VHF Transceiver, ensuring it maintains a full 12.5W output and clear modulation. The LCD backlight is checked for consistency, and the Pilot Plug pins are inspected for wear. We also perform a software update and verify the MMSI reset capability so the unit is ready for your vessel's specific data. Every unit is factory-reset at our Bhavnagar facility.
