It features a high-brightness 6.5-inch color TFT LCD that displays depth in clear, easy-to-read numerals alongside a graphical echogram. Unlike older models that used mechanical paper belts, the FE-700 utilizes internal memory to store up to 24 hours of depth data, which can be played back at any time.

The system is designed for maximum versatility, allowing for the connection of either 50 kHz or 200 kHz transducers. The 200 kHz frequency is ideal for high-resolution sounding in shallow waters and ports, while the 50 kHz frequency provides powerful penetration for deep-sea tracking. With its compact display unit and integrated transceiver, it is easily installed in bridge consoles where space is at a premium.

Our refurbished FE-700 units from the Alang yards undergo a rigorous testing process. We verify the transceiver performance to ensure the 600W output is consistent and the sensitivity is high. The 6.5-inch LCD is inspected for clarity and backlight life. We also test the internal memory backup battery and ensure the NMEA data strings are broadcasting correctly for VDR integration. Every unit is reset to factory defaults and supplied with a test report from our Bhavnagar facility.
