The Furuno GP-37 is a compact, waterproof DGPS navigator featuring a high-contrast 4.5-inch silver bright LCD. While it shares a similar body to the GP-32, the GP-37 is equipped with a sophisticated dual-channel beacon receiver. This allows the unit to receive correction signals from terrestrial DGPS beacon stations, bringing position accuracy down to less than 5 meters.

The system is designed to store up to 1,000 waypoints and 200 routes, making it an excellent tool for repetitive coastal transits or marking specific underwater locations. Its "Highway" display mode provides a 3D perspective of the intended track, which is particularly useful for steering the vessel in narrow channels or during low-visibility conditions. Our refurbished GP-37 units from the Alang yards go through a meticulous inspection process. We specifically test the Beacon Receiver sensitivity to ensure it can still pull in weak terrestrial signals. The LCD contrast is checked for full visibility, and the internal backup battery is replaced to prevent the loss of user-saved waypoints. We also verify the NMEA Output to ensure it is correctly feeding position data to connected bridge equipment. Every unit is factory-reset and provided with a detailed test report from our Bhavnagar facility.
