The NAVpilot-300 is a versatile autopilot that features Furuno’s unique self-learning and adaptive software. From the first voyage, the pilot begins to learn the vessel's steering characteristics, automatically adjusting for speed, trim, tide, and wind. The system is famous for its Gesture Controller (GC-001), a handheld Bluetooth remote that allows the captain to change the boat's heading simply by pointing the remote in the desired direction.

Equipped with Fantum Feedback™, the NAVpilot-300 eliminates the need for a physical rudder reference unit on outboard-powered boats. This significantly reduces installation time and complexity while still providing precise course control from slow trolling speeds to high-speed cruising. Its 4.1-inch color display is sharp and easy to read, even in direct sunlight.

TYPICAL CONDITION (USED/REFURBISHED)

When we test refurbished NAVpilot-300 units from Alang, we pay close attention to the Bluetooth pairing between the FAP-3012 processor and the GC-001 remote. We verify that the NMEA 2000 backbone communication is stable and that the processor drive circuit can handle the continuous current required for hydraulic pumps. The LCD is inspected for any pixel degradation, and the "Fantum Feedback" calibration is reset to ensure a fresh setup for the next vessel.
