The Icom MA-500TR is a compact, standalone Class-B AIS transponder designed for non-SOLAS vessels such as pleasure craft, fishing boats, and small workboats. Unlike many "black box" AIS units that require an external plotter, the MA-500TR features its own dedicated high-contrast dot-matrix display.
